The Ministry of Defence has unveiled the identity of the British soldier who was attacked and beheaded by a British-Nigerian man identified as Michael Muhajad Adebolajo and an accomplice.
He has been identified as Lee Rigby, a 25-years old who served in Afganistan with the Royal Regiment of Fusillers.
He was walking towards the Royal Artillery Barracks in Woolwich when he was knocked down by a car on the pavement and he was attacked and beheaded by the two men.
He is survived by a wife and a 2-year-old son.
