Ja Rule Released From Prison After Two Years

Ja Rule used to be my favourite American rappers, but he 'fell my hand' when he was sentenced to prison for being in illegal possession of fire arm and tax evasion.

But the good news is that Ja Rule, real name Jeffrey Atkins, was released at around 10am (5pm Nigerian time) from Ray Brook Federal Prison in New York today, Tuesday May 7, 2013.

He was picked up by his wife, and taken back to his house, where he'll remain on home confinement until July 28.
