Fans Blast Cristiano Ronaldo's Girlfriend, Irina Shayk For Posing Semi-nude In The #BringBackOurGirls Campaign

Sports Illustrated model Irina Shayk went topless to join the social media campaign demanding Islamic terrorists return hundreds of kidnapped Nigerian schoolgirls.

Dozens of celebrities have posted pictures of themselves holding a piece of paper with the hashtag #Bringbackourgirls, calling for anti-education jihadists Boko Haram to bring back the 276 kidnapped girls - the group said they planned to sell the children into the sex trade.

Ronaldo's girl decided to strip topless for her Twitter picture, only covering her modesty with the piece of cardboard calling for the girls safe return.

The schoolchildren, aged 15-18, were taken from their beds in the middle of the night by the anti-education jihadists.  A video released by the leader of the terrorist group claimed responsibility for the mass kidnapping of the girls.

Some Twitter users quickly slammed the 28-year-old's lack of attire for her picture, with one writing: "Pretty tasteless and disrespectful. No class. This is exactly the justification terrorists are probably using to prevent women from receiving 'western education'."

Another wrote: "Would you stand there naked wishing sorrow on the 9/11 victims? Would you do it for the tsunami? This is a tasteless attitude to 200 missing girls."

While supporters said the lingerie model's picture was sure to draw more awareness to the social media campaign.
