President Jonathan To Visit Chibok On Friday

President Goodluck Jonathan will on Friday visit Chibok, the village where more than 200 Government Secondary schoolgirls were abducted on April 14 by the Boko Haram sect.

Senior government officials Thursday informed Reuters of the development.

Amid growing concerns over the girls safety and global #BringBackOurGirls campaign, the visit will be the president's first since the incident occurred.

Mr. Jonathan is also scheduled to travel to Paris, France, for a regional security summit where the Boko Haram insurgency will be discussed.
