Have You ever done "dey no call me, I enter, I chop, I comot" in someone's ceremony before?
I was chatting with a male friend that works on Island, in lagos.
Though not yet married, but he
said he works on saturday but he never buys food on that day. As he likes party, and after closing for the day around midday, all he does is to drive and locate a very good hall where party is taking place to wine and dine with the unknown celebrities. Many a times, he has been given a lot of pricey gifts and you wonder at times if you will not join him doing so. He is a handsome dude and always dress well, may be
thats why they never embarrass him. I always tell him that the idea may not be good, but he was trying to convince me that, that is how he
relaxes and nothing bad in it. We did it one time together while coming from surulere, we just branch somewhere, had fun and left with a lot of goodies.
The irony is that his fiancee was "seen" in one of this kind of an events he never invited for.
I could remember during my wedding ceremony, the reception was full to the brim even about 12
mopols that we hire could do nothing. Why? it was done beside a school campus, and to make the matter worse, it was during their exams and many might be so hungry.
It was God sent events to many students that came in and celebrated with us.
This is another level of "mogbo moya" - meaning that "I heard about it and i went there as
uninvited guest".
Have you done something like that or have you been embarrassed or you embarrass someone that crashed to your party like that?
Culled
