A 4-year old girl was reportedly defiled inside the premises of a school in Okota area of Lagos.
According to Advocates for Children and Vulnerable Persons Network (ACVPN), the minor was allegedly defiled at Spring School located at Mukandasi Street.
Recounting how the incident occurred, the mother of the little girl disclosed that her daughter was in a perfect state when she brought her to school and left for work in the morning. However after they returned home after she picked up her child later in the day, she complained of pains in her private part and anus.
A quick and medical tests carried out at Mirabel Centre in Ikeja, Lagos confirmed that the 4-year-old girl was defiled. PM Express reported that the case was initially reported at Okota Police Division but was transferred to the Gender Section of Zone D Command, Mushin, in line with the State Command’s directive to transfer such cases to the Command or SCIID, Panti, Lagos.
Some staff of the school including the security guards, have been summoned and are undergoing interrogations over the incident.
