Female Suicide Bomber Blew Self Up In The Federal College Of Education Kontagora, Niger State

A lone female suicide bomber has detonated a bomb at the Federal College of Education Kontagora in Niger State. Early reports said apart from the suicide bomber, no one died in the attack but according to BBC Nigeria correspondent, Will Ross, a lecturer at the college told him he saw 4 dead bodies after the deafening blast. Security sources told Saharareporters that several students sustained injuries from the attack.

The Police spokesman in the state, ASP Ibrahim Gambari, confirmed the incident but said they were yet to get full details of the incident. Kotangora is 343kms from Abuja, Nigeria’s Federal capital.
