The presidency has denied that it principal, Muhammadu Buhari is sick.
The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina, stated this in a telephone chat Saturday morning.
Adesina was reacting to a media report that Buhari has an infection in his left ear, otherwise called Meniere Disease.
According to the presidential spokesman, President Buhari is hale and hearty.
"Mr president is hale and hearty," Adesina said.
President Buhari on Friday separately received a former president, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo and some other visitors including clerics yesterday.
Another source in the Presidency also said the report of the president's "purported sickness is a fabrication which is not good for the media's image".
