The Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the just concluded gubernatorial elections in Osun state inconclusive due to issues arising in some Local governments and wards. Issues such as disruption, over voting and malfunctioning of SCR.. This according to INEC has affected the final results of the elections.
INEC has ordered a re-run election to take place in the affected areas on Thursday, 27th September, 2018.
The margin of votes between the two leading candidated of the All Progressives Congress, Gboyega Oyetola and the candidate of People's Democratic Party, Senator Ademola Adeleke is 353, which is lower than the number of registered voters in affected areas.
