Jimoh Ibrahim Arrested In Hotel Room Over N6.8bn Tax Fraud

The Special Enforcement Unit of Federal Inland Revenue Service has arrested businessman, Jimoh Ibrahim over a tax evasion that runs into N6.8 billion. According to reports Barrister Jimoh Ibrahim was picked up today Monday November 18th, and is currently under detention at the offices of the agency. Sources told SaharaReporters:





"We are investigating a case where Chief Ibrahim, defrauded the federal government to the tune of N6.8 billion. He is in our custody, we intend to take a statement from the suspect under caution."






Mr. Ibrahim was arrested in his hotel room at NICON Luxury Hotel this afternoon.
