Ondo State Police Denies Reports That One Of Its Men Died On Top Of A Woman

The Ondo State Police Command has debunked the report that one of his men died while having an
affair with a woman.

A statement signed by the Command's spokesman, Wole Ogodo described the story as false, baseless and complete imagination of the writer.

The Command said it was a Police Inspector who reported his ailment at Ilu-titun Osooro and was conveyed in a police patrol vehicle to hospita and not as reported by the writer.

Ogodo also explained that it was an
Inspector that died and not an Assistant Superintendent of Police(ASP) as reported.

The Command also denied that a woman was arrested in connection with the death of any police officer, saying nothing of such happened.

The statement further affirmed that, "this shows that the writer did not conduct any investigation but based his story on mere imagination".

The Command however counselled journalists to always conform with the ethics of journalism, while assuring the citizenry of adequate protection of lives and property in the State.
