Renowned evangelist and founder of World Soul Winning Evangelical Ministry, Prophet Timothy Oluwole Obadare, died in a private hospital after a protracted illness in Akure, Ondo State at the age of 85.
He was pronounced dead by the doctors today at around 4.45pm.
May his soul rest in peace!!

The House of Representatives has finally relieved Honourable Farouk Lawan as the Chairman of the Committee on Education on Thursday.
The embattled lawmaker was placed on suspension since June 2012 for his involvement in the controversial $620m bribery scandal that rocked the House of Representatives last year.
While on suspension, the Deputy Chairman of the Committee, Dr. Rose Oko, was asked by the speaker, Aminu Tambuwal, to chair the Committee in acting capacity.
On Thursday, Tambuwal named a replacement for Lawan, indicating that the four time legislator had been removed permanently as Chairman. In his place, the Speaker named Mr. Aminu Suleiman from Kano State.
However Lawan and his erstwhile secretary, Mr. Boniface Emenalor, are currently standing trial for the bribery allegation.
It would be recalled that Farouk Lawan headed the Ad-hoc Committee, which investigated the fuel subsidy regime between January and April 2012.
The panel had uncovered how government officials allegedly connived with fuel importers to defraud the nation of N2.07 trillion in the guise of funding subsidy.
But as the House celebrated the findings, an oil businessman, Mr. Femi Otedola, accused Lawan of demanding bribe from him. He claimed that the bribe demanded by Lawan was to clear two of his firms indictment for subsidy fraud, an allegation which Lawan vehemently denies.

Rapper Jesse Abaga A.K.A Jesse Jagz has released a statement to announce his exit from Chocolate City Music label.
Jesse Jagz who is the brother of rapper Jude Abaga popularly known as M.I also of Chocolate City Music has apparently been having issues with the music label over their handling of his music career.
His issued a statement below which reads:
To whom it may concern:
"I, Jesse Garba Abaga (also known as Jesse Jagz) an artist formerly signed to Chocolate City Music label hereby wishes to notify my fans and the general public about my voluntary exit from the label.
After my initial two year contractual agreement with Chocolate City, I do not wish to renew my contract with them and such have proceeded to continue my music career with my new team at Jesse Jagz Nation. I still maintain a cordial relationship with the management of Chocolate City and my former label mates and I wish them the best in their future endeavours. Any further information will be passed across through my publicist but until then, have a good day.
Look out for my sophomore album JagZNation Vol. 1 coming out in July 2013.

There are strong indications that the pump price per litre of petrol will rise again. President Goodluck Jonathan says that there will be increase in the price, but he will first "discuss" with the public on the easiest way to do it.
It would be recalled that on New Year's Day in 2012, the President greeted Nigerians with the shock increase in petroleum products, as he attempted to scrap so-called oil subsidies. This lead to a nationwide strike and street protests that almost toppled the government.
He solved the problem by partially revoking the effort. He raised the price to N97 from N65 per litre of petrol.
Speaking at a press conference in Lagos, President Jonathan said: "We cannot continue to waste resources meant for a greater number of Nigerians to subsidize the affluent middle class, who are the main beneficiaries."
He did not make any reference to the mammoth corruption and manipulation of the oil sector. Also the President has so far failed to implement the report of the Nuhu Ribadu-led Petroleum Revenue Special Task Force which last year made important recommendations on how to correct problems in the sector.
Meanwhile members of Occupy Nigeria have told Sahara Reporters they will be ready for the President if he gives them the opportunity to again unite Nigerians in street demonstrations.
"We promise never again to be deceived or derailed by organized labour or any pro-government group which may want to sell out," one organizer said.

An Improvised Explosive Device, IED, suspected to have been planted by the dreaded sect, Boko Haram has torn a JTF vehicle apart killing six and injuring two JTF personnel, eye witness who did not want his name to be mentioned told DailyPost in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital.
The explosion which happened around 11.47am at the UBA bank roundabout, in the Post Office area came barely 24 hours after suspected gunmen attacked three schools within the metropolis killing some teachers, including female teachers and pupils.
Eye witness who gave an account of the explosion told DailyPost correspondent that he was about going into the Union Bank for a transaction when he heard the heavy explosion only to turn towards the direction of the explosion and saw that the soldiers' Hilux vehicle, which was coming behind has been torn apart by the heavy explosion.
"I couldn't go into the bank again as I ran to go and meet my wife in the shop. I actually passed the military vehicle when I was going to the bank. There were four soldiers at the back, two in the passengers cabin, including the driver with another in the front.
"It was horrendous as bodies were littered on the ground. People who were close at vintage positions said only two out of the eight in the vehicle seemed alive."
Another eye witness told our correspondent that, even though, he did not see any civilian killed when the soldiers arrived at the scene of the incident, the gunfire they came with may have hit some civilians around.
"As I am talking to you now, I am in one of the shops at Ramat Shopping Complex. You can hear the gunshots, the soldiers are already there, it is not good at all," he said.
JTF spokesman, Lieutenant Colonel. Sagir Musa could not be reached as at the time of this report, and the police is yet to confirm the incident, as calls put across to the Commissioner of Police, Yuguda Abdullahi could not be reached.

Former England Striker, Michael Owen is to retire from football at the end of the season.
Owen, 33, who scored 40 goals in 89 international appearances for England, played for Liverpool FC, Real Madrid, Newcastle United FC, Manchester United FC and currently now playing for Stoke City FC.
"I have been very fortunate in that my career has taken me on a journey I could only have dreamed of. I now feel it is the right time to bring the curtain down on my career," Owen said on his personal website.
Owen burst on to the scene as a teenager at Liverpool and made England's 1998 World Cup squad at just 18 years of age. He announced himself on the world stage with a memorable solo goal against Argentina in that tournament, and also scored a hat-trick as England beat Germany 5-1 in Munich in September 2001.
He has scored 220 goals in his club career, winning the Premier League, the FA Cup, the League Cup and UEFA Cup.
Owen was named European Footballer of the year in 2001.
