NFF President Aminu Maigari Leads Nigeria Delegation To Brazil For Friday's World Cup Draws

President of Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, Alhaji Aminu Maigari will lead Nigeria's delegation Friday's 2014 FIFA World Cup draw ceremony taking place in Costa do Sauipe, Salvador in Brazil.

Other members of the delegation include, chairman of NFF's Technical Committee, Barrister Chris Green, Super Eagles' head coach, Stephen Keshi, NFF's Director of Marketing, Adama Idris, NFF's Assistant Director (Media), Ademola Olajire and Super Eagles' Team Administrator, Dayo Enebi Achor.

The delegation leaves for Johannesburg tonight and would connect a South African Airways flight from Johannesburg to Sao Paulo on Wednesday's morning, before flying to Salvador.

Friday's draw ceremony which has been scheduled to last 90 minutes will kick off at 16hours GMT.


Brazil, who are record five-time champions, will head Group A while Spain, Germany, Argentina, Uruguay, Switzerland, Colombia and Belgium heading other seven groups.

All 32 teams will be drawn into eight groups of four teams each, with the top two teams advancing to the Round of 16 of the finals holding from 12 June to13 July, 2014.

After the event, apart from inspection visits to teams' venues agreements for friendly matches are expected to be concluded by participating countries.

Nigeria's best performance at the mundial remains a second round berth at her debut in USA 1994.
