FC Barcelona President Sandro Rosell Resigns Amid Neymar Transfer Saga

Barcelona president Sandro Rosell has resigned following a Spanish court's decision to examine last summer's signing of Brazil forward Neymar.
Barcelona will be investigated for the alleged misappropriation of funds in the £48.6m (57m euro) deal with Santos.

Rosell, speaking at a news conference after a Barca board meeting, insisted: "I've always stated that we acted correctly with the Neymar transfer."

Vice-president Josep Maria Bartomeu takes over from Rosell immediately.
