According to reports, Gbadebo allegedly assaulted a lady who stayed over with him at the hotel on Friday night. City People contacted Gbadebo and according to him, he never assaulted the lady. In his words: "I was in Lagos for the GenVoices Telethon and had yesterday attended a friend's birthday.
On returning to the hotel where I was to be lodged, I had a friend who came over. Waking up and on her way out, I realised my money was missing as I knew the amount I had in my bag before bedtime. I asked her but she didn't own up to it. I then called the attention of the hotel security.
The security men had to drag her out of the hotel room and I allowed her leave even with my money".
