PDP National Chairman Alhaji Bamaga Tukur Finally Resigns

After days of speculation whether he will or he won't, the embattled National Chairman of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur has finally thrown in the towel according to reports reaching me.


Confirming the report, a senior member of the faction of the National Working Committee of the party told Punch Newspapers in Abuja on Wednesday, that President Goodluck Jonathan will disclose the latest developments to party members at the meeting of the National Caucus of the Party holding tonight in Abuja.


Reports have it that the First Lady, Patience Jonathan is already making some moves to have the Minister of Transport, Senator Idris Umar appointed as the new Party Chairman.
