1000 Nigerians To Be Deported From Saudi Arabia

Over one thousand Nigerians are to be deported from Saudi Arabia in the next twenty four hours.

1000 Nigerians to be deported from Saudi Arabia

They are mainly illegal immigrants into the kingdom of Saudi Arabia who have been mopped up by the Saudi authorities and quartered at the Jeda airport under unfavourably conditions in the past one month.

The immigrants were initially billed to be flown into the Nnamdi Azikwe international airport in Abuja on Sunday, but that plan was aborted due to operations challenges by the aircraft scheduled to airlift them.

Spokesman of the National Emergency Management Agency, Manzo Ezekiel told AIT earlier that adequate measures have been put in place to take care of the returnees as soon as they arrive before reuniting them with their family members across the country.

This is not the first time nigerians will be repatriated from the Holy land.

The Saudi Arabian government recently reviewed its laws to halt illegal influx of immigrants under the guise of performing pilgrimage.
