Remember the University of Lagos student who went viral after she shared a video of herself twerking to the statue of former UNILAG VC, Professor Tunde Sofoluwe.
The management of UNILAG has now released a statement debunking claims of the viral report of suspension of the student.
According to the school who shared the statement on it’s website, the report is false and should be disregarded.
The school wrote:
The managemet of University of Lagos wishes to inform all students and the General public, that the current information making waves in the social media, concerning a student who was allegedly rusticated for 4 semesters for dancing with the statue of the late Vice-Chancellor, Prof. A. B. Sofoluwe, is false and should be disregarded.
