Redeemer's University Vice-Chancellor Visits Gov. Rauf Aregbesola Of Osun State; Rallies Support For University

The Vice-Chancellor of the Redeemer's University, Prof. Debo Adeyewa, recently paid a courtesy visit to the Osun State governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, at the state house to solicit support for infrastructural development of the university's permanent site at Ede.

Prof. Adeyewa briefed the governor on the state of the preparedness of the university towards moving to its permanent site within the next few months.

He appreciated the efforts of the state government in repositioning the state for rapid development. He further spoke on the opportunities and benefits of the University coming to Ede. He also solicited for the government's assistance in putting in place some of the social amenities that would make the place conducive for the University to operate.
 
While responding on behalf of the Governor of the State, the Deputy-Governor, Chief (Mrs.) Titilayo Laoye-Tomori, said that the state government was excited about the progress the university had made since the sod-turning event in 2012. She assured that the state government would provide the necessary assistance to make the university's home-coming, to Edeland, a reality.
