Solomon Lar Out Of Life Support

Executive Secretary of Solomon D Lar Foundation, Mr. Major Adeyi, has said the first Civilian Governor of Plateau State, Chief Solomon Lar, has been removed from life support and is currently out of danger.

Lar was said to have had a relapse after he was discharged from a US hospital where he has been undergoing treatment since January.

Adeyi told our correspondent in an interview in Jos on Tuesday that Lar spoke with his associates and some members of his family around 11am on Tuesday.

He described Lar's recovery as dramatic, saying the octogenarian might have reacted to drugs.

Adeyi said, "I can assure you that Baba is out of danger and is doing very fine. We suspect that he must have reacted to drugs because he was hale and hearty when he was discharged from the hospital. This morning, he spoke with some of his associates and members of his family and he sounded very upbeat."
