A Toyota Hilux 2014 model, stolen from where it was parked at Tiwalade Street, at Shogunle area of Lagos State was this afternoon, July 6, recovered by RRS officials at Ebute in Ikorodu. The robbers escaped on sighting the RRS officials.
The Hilux belonging to a Lagos based company, served as a security vehicle. According to the driver of the vehicle, Felix Agunbiade, the vehicle was parked at his residence around 2:30 a.m in Shogunle. He woke up this morning with a plan to pick his company's CEO, who was visiting from Dubai, only to discover the pick-up was missing.
As at the time of recovering the vehicle, its number plate has been changed and replaced with LSR 400 CZ. The vehicle has been handed over to the DPO of the Police Division at Shogunle in the presence of the owner's representative.
According to the Lagos State Police Command PRO, SP Dolapo Badmos, investigation is on-going to arrest all members of the robbery gang.
