A fake medical doctor who sexually abused patients by sucking their private parts has been arrested by the police in Minna, Niger State.
Umaru Usman, aged 50 years, was nabbed at the Outpatient Department of the Minna General Hospital on Tuesday.
Our correspondent gathered that Usman had been parading himself as a medical doctor for over two years without detection.
It was learnt that the suspect who was a hospital attendant usually directed male patients away from the doctors into a room where he would massage and suck their manhood till they ejaculate semen.
So far, he was said to have sexually abused about 10 victims before he was apprehended.
According to an eyewitness, his last victim whose name was given as Sani Baitachi and aged 40 years could not discharge on time resulting in the victim slapping the suspect leading to his arrest.
Usman was subsequently handed over to the police.
The Deputy Chief Medical Director of the hospital, Dr. Hussaini Yabagi, confirmed the story saying, “The management will follow the case to its logical conclusion so that it could serve as a deterrent to others.”
The Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bala Elkana, also confirmed the story, adding that investigation had commenced.
