THE Founder of DAAR Communications, owner of African Independent Television (AIT) and a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), High Chief Raymond Dokpesi, has unveiled a new political party.
Named the Advanced Peoples Democratic Alliance (APDA), Dokpesi and Dan Anyanwu, former chairman of the Labour Party, unveiled the new party on Monday.
The occasion is ongoing at Reiz Continental Hotels in Abuja.
Shitu Mohammed Kabiru has been appointed as the interim chairman of the new party with the executive committee yet to be constituted.
The slogan of the new party is "Stronger Together"
