Nairaland.com Suffers Outage For Days, Cause Remains Unclear

Four days after, Nigerians are still in the dark over what led to the
sudden disappearance of top online
forum, www.nairaland.com.

The website which is currently ranked seventh most popular in Nigeria and 873 in the world for the past days has been inaccessible.

When DailyPost contacted the founder, Seun Osewa via an e-mail, he did not respond, an indication that he's still battling on how to
restore the site.

He only took to twitter to post some unexplainable tweets, such
as, "It may be worse than you think. It may take much longer than you expect."

'We failed to protect what you entrusted to us. We tried, but we failed.

We wish we would have been the only ones affected by our failure."

"We're going into a quiet period to concentrate on bringing back Nairaland. By the end of the week, we will be able to answer your questions."
