Power Generation Rises Above 4,000mw

The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), on Wednesday said that power generation had improved significantly to over 4,000 mega watts.

Mr. Dave Ifabiyi, the Assistant General Manager of TCN disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos.

It would be recalled that the Minister of Power, Professor Chinedu Nebo, on April 11, said that the drop in power generation was due to ongoing maintenance works on installations across the country.

"Power generation, which dropped due to system collapse, has improved to over 4,000 mega watts as at Wednesday.
"We hope that before the week runs out, the generation will reach a peak of 4,600 mega watts," he told NAN.

*Good news!!!*
