It was all smiles this evening at Old Trafford, Manchester, as Manchester United Football Club won their 20th top-flight league title thanks to a hat-trick from Striker, Robin van Persie.
The dutch striker netted all of United's goals, as Manchester United defeated Aston Villa Football Club 3-0.
Van Persie scored three times in 31 first-half minutes at Old Trafford to send United 16 points clear of arch-rivals Manchester City FC.
The victory was every bit as emphatic as United's 13th title in 21 Premier League seasons under veteran manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
The final whistle was greeted by scenes of jubilation among United's players and fans, the only thing missing was the Premier League Trophy itself.
That will be presented at United's final home game of the season against Swansea City on May 12.
