The rate of kidnapping in Lagos state is taking a very dangerous dimension and the authorities needs to curb it before it spews out of control.
A 16-year old pupil, Adeniji Olufolabi of the American International School Lagos, is missing.
He was last seen on the 16th of April, 2013 on his way to school with his mother's driver.
The SUV that conveyed him to school that fateful day was later found abandoned at the Palms Shopping Mall, Lekki, Lagos.
No contact has been made with his family as at yet.
This is going to be the third case of abduction this week after the Chairman of Ejigbo Local Council Development Authority, Mr. Kehinde Bamigbetan was kidnapped and released just yesterday, another lady was kidnapped on the 14th of April on her way back from church. Not forgetting the website www.thenet.ng that was "kidnapped" some days ago.
