Letter With Poisonous Substance Sent To President Obama

The United States Secret Service has intercepted a letter addressed to President Barack Obama containing a suspicious substance believed to be Ricin.
The letter was intercepted at a Postal Screening centre in Maryland.
The letter was intercepted at a remote facility a day after another letter sent to a U.S senator was confirmed to contain Ricin.

Secret Service spokesman, Ed Donovan says the letter was intercepted at a facility away from the White House. He says the letter was received on Tuesday.

Tensions have been high in Washington and across the U.S since the deadly bombings on Monday at the Boston Marathon that killed three people and injured more than 170.
