FG Lifts Flight Suspension Of Dana Air

The Federal Government has taken an upturn of the decision to suspend flight operations of Dana Airlines.
On Saturday the Federal Government revoked the Air Operations Certificate (AOC) of Dana Air, thus preventing the airline from flying in the country. But on Monday, the Ministry of Aviation issued a statement that goes on to read: "At the end of the meeting with the Airline's staff, the suspension of the operation of the Airline which took effect last Saturday was lifted. The Airline is to resume normal operations immediately," Joe Obi, Special Assistant to the Minister of Aviation, Stella Oduah, said.
On June 3rd, 2012, a McDonnell Douglas MD-83, belonging to Dana Airline crashed into an apartment block in a populated Lagos Suburb, killing 153 on board the plane, and 10 others on the ground.
