Liverpool's New Away Jersey Makes Their Players Look Like "A Game Of Space Invaders"

From the 'Magic Eye' Candy kit of the late 80s to the distinctly yellow Carlsberg shirts either side of the millennium, Liverpool are no stranger to garish change strips.
But their away and third kits outfits for the 2013/14 season, however, may just be the most striking yet.
The official away kit - advertised by the club already - is the white and black one with red and black shards down the front.
'Inspired by the patterns and graphics featured in the kits of the 1980s and 1990s," Liverpool wrote on the club website, "Warrior and LFC have produced a strip which represents modern retro."

According to leaked images, this rather fetching design of half-white and half-purple zig-zags on black is reportedly the third kit:

The pictures of the kits initially came courtesy of Twitter user @locowio.

His explanation for getting his hands on these are that they are from "From (LFC kit manufacturer) Warrior Sports' own webshop, apparently (they're) not so good at keeping their files in order. They are 100% real."

Some Twitter users have been less kind, however, with one suggesting that perhaps the new design is the reason Luis Suarez is agitating for a move.
